So here's the deal : Guy de Maupassant's Bel Ami is a highly acclaimed classic, it is also one of my favourite novels. Georges Duroy - the lead character - is complicated, fascinating and probably a lot of young actors' dream role.
Robert Pattinson got the chance to play this iconic part and considering he hasn't established himself as a serious - or seriously good - actor just yet, this will be a huge test...if he nails this, he will be considered seriously from now on...if not...well, then Cronenberg's Cosmopolis is in big trouble.
